Hole 2 is taken from the famous sand quarry hole, Merion 16

Hole 6 is the tenth at Riviera. I have always loved the options on this hole. It is sad beyond belief that this little piece of magic will be given the Fazio treatment adding a new tee to lengthen the hole by 55 yards.

Hole 8 - Hmmm, A short hole with a very elevated tee surrounded by bunkers, on a point of land surrounded by water. OK so its a lake and stream and not the oceam but its still Pebble 7.

Hole 12 is based on the thirteenth at Muirfield. Flatter, shallower and tiered but the essential elements are still there.

Hole 17 is based on Pebble 17 It is smaller and shorter but it does have the shape.

Hole 18 is one of the finest finishing holes in golf. It is rearranged to suit modern design theory and the telltale bunker has been changed but it is still recognizable as Muirfield 18. Even Dano got this one.
